Gary was born in Toledo, Ohio and started playing piano at the age of 5.  After hearing The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, he decided to start playing guitar as well.  Gary played guitar in several local bands throughout high school and college in the late 1960's and 1970's.  After college, Gary suppressed his musical ambitions for over 20 years while he focused on a career and raising a family.  However, he never lost his passion for music and joined the Old Dogs in 2005.  "This is the best band and greatest group of guys I've ever played with.  We're just having a lot of fun."
